Craig Price, 65, of

St. George, Utah, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018, surrounded by family, in his home. He was born May 9, 1953, in Las Vegas, to Maynard Price and Faye Taylor Price. Craig, a devoted husband, loving father and grandfathe­r, friend and brother, was born and raised in Las Vegas. He started working for Centel, which became Sprint, at an early age as a lineman and worked his way into management until he retired and moved to St. George, Utah to be closer to family. He considered his closest friends part of his family. Friendship and family meant everything to him. He loved doing things for the people in his life and everywhere he went he could coax a smile out of strangers. He loved the people he worked with at Tinks Auto Parts and the customers he served. In his spare time, Craig loved fishing and going on cruises. After being diagnosed with cancer in early 2017, he fought cancer with everything he had. He will be missed until we reunite with him on the other side. He was preceded in death by his father, Maynard; grandfathe­r, Grant; and grandmothe­r, Annie. He is survived by his wife, Cheryle Price; daughters, Lisa Rands (Alan) of Utah, and April Evans (Mike) of Utah; grandchild­ren, Austin, Makayla, Zachary, Trenton, Joshua, Caiden and Jayce; sister, Patty Weed of Las Vegas; and mother, Faye Price of St. George, Utah. Celebratio­n of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at the LDS Chapel on Foremaster Ridge, 912 S 1740 E, St. George, UT 84790.
