At Tuscaloosa, Ala., Tua Tagovailoa was 13 of 19 passing for 228 yards and four touchdowns for the Crimson Tide (2-0), who led 40-0 at halftime. The Red Wolves (1-1) were outgained 599-391 in yards of offense.

■ No. 3 Georgia 41, No. 24 South Carolina 17 —

At Columbia, S.C., Jake Fromm was 15 of 18 passing for 194 yards and a touchdown for the Bulldogs (2-0, 1-0), who held the Gamecocks (1-1, 0-1) to 54 yards rushing. D’Andre Swift, Elijah Holyfield and Brian Herrien each ran for a Georgia score.

■ No. 7 Auburn 63, Alabama State 9 —

At Auburn, Ala., JaTarvious Whitlow ran for 122 yards, and receiver Anthony Schwartz totaled 117 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers (2-0). The Hornets (1-1) trailed 42-0 at halftime.

■ No. 11 Louisiana State 31, Southeaste­rn Louisiana 0 —

At Baton Rouge, La., Joe Burrow threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, and Nick Brossette ran for 137 yards and a TD on 19 carries for the Tigers (2-0). The Lions (0-2) limited LSU to one first down on its first three second-half drives.

■ Kentucky 27, No. 25 Florida 16—

At Gainesvill­e, Fla., Terry Wilson threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 105 yards and a score for the Wildcats (2-0, 1-0), who had lost their previous 31 games to the Gators (1-1, 0-1) dating to 1986. Florida lost a league opener for the first time since 2004.

■ Vanderbilt 41, UNR 10 —

At Nashville, Tenn., linebacker Josh Smith had 10 tackles, including three for loss, for the Commodores (2-0), who held the Wolf Pack (1-1) to 124 yards of offense in the first half and 250 overall. UNR was within 17-10 in the second quarter.

■ Tennessee 59, East Tennessee State 3 —

At Knoxville, Tenn., Jeremy Banks and Madre London each ran for two touchdowns for the Volunteers (1-1), and Marquill Osborne scored on a blocked punt return and Darrin Kirkland Jr. on an intercepti­on return. The Buccaneers (1-1) allowed 28 points in a sixminute stretch of the second quarter.

■ Mississipp­i 76, Southern Illinois 41 —

At Oxford, Miss., Jordan Ta’amu threw for 448 yards and five touchdowns for the Rebels (2-0), who trailed 38-35 at halftime. Sam Straub threw for 382 yards and four TDs for the Salukis (1-1) but had an intercepti­on by Vernon Dasher returned 88 yards for a score.

■ Missouri 40, Wyoming 13 —

At Columbia, Mo., Drew Lock threw for 398 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 51 yards and a score for the Tigers (2-0). Cooper Rothe kicked a 51-yard field goal for the Cowboys (1-2).
