■ No. 6 Oklahoma 49, UCLA 21 —

At Norman, Okla., Kyler Murray passed for 306 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 69 yards and two TDs for the Sooners (2-0), who lost star running back Rodney Anderson to a leg injury. The Bruins (0-2) mustered 133 yards of offense in the first half while absorbing five sacks.

■ No. 14 West Virginia 52, Youngstown State 17 —

At Morgantown, W.Va., Will Grier threw for 332 yards and four touchdowns, three to Gary Jennings, for the Mountainee­rs (2-0), who totaled 625 yards of offense in winning their 15th straight home opener. The Penguins (0-2) totaled 293 yards of offense.

■ No. 18 Mississipp­i State 31, Kansas State 10 —

At Manhattan, Kan., Kylin Hill ran for 211 yards and scored three touchdowns for the Bulldogs (2-0) in their first road win over a Power Five opponent since 1995. The Wildcats (1-1) gave up four sacks and totaled 213 yards of offense.

■ Kansas 31, Central Michigan 7—

At Mount Pleasant, Mich., Pooka Williams ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns for the Jayhawks (1-1), who had four intercepti­ons and halted the second-longest road losing streak in college football history at 46 games. The Chippewas (0-2) had one first-half first down and didn’t cross midfield until 7:54 remained in the third quarter.

■ Texas 28, Tulsa 21 —

At Austin, Texas, Sam Ehlinger ran for a touchdown and passed for another in the first half and then threw the decisive TD pass in the fourth quarter for the Longhorns (1-1), who led 21-0. Shamari Brooks ran for two TDs for the Golden Hurricane (1-1), who dropped two passes in the end zone and missed three field goals.

At Lubbock, Texas, freshman Alan Bowman was 22 of 25 passing for 282 yards and two touchdowns while playing the first half for the Red Raiders (1-1), who set a modern-day team record with seven rushing TDs. The Cardinals (1-1) mustered 182 yards of offense.

■ Oklahoma State 55, South Alabama 13 —

At Stillwater, Okla., Tylan Wallace had 10 catches for 166 yards and a touchdown for the Cowboys (2-0), who held a 617-214 edge in yards of offense. The Jaguars (0-2) allowed just 164 yards rushing, but Oklahoma State ran for four TDs.

■ Baylor 37, Texas-San Antonio 20—

At San Antonio, Charlie Brewer passed for 328 yards and three touchdowns for the Bears (2-0), who totaled 494 yards of offense and held the Roadrunner­s (0-2) to 255. Baylor led 20-13 at halftime.
