At Oxford, Miss., Tua Tagovailoa was 11 of 15 passing for 191 yards and two touchdowns in one quarter-plus of action for the Crimson Tide (3-0, 1-0), who totaled 516 yards of offense. D.K. Metcalf caught a 75-yard TD pass from Jordan Ta’amu on the first play from scrimmage for the Rebels (2-1, 0-1).

■ No. 3 Georgia 49, Middle Tennessee State 7 —

At Athens, Ga., Jake Fromm threw three touchdown passes and Elijah Holyfield ran for 100 yards, each playing only the first half, for the Bulldogs (3-0). The Blue Raiders (12) trailed 42-7 at intermissi­on.

■ No. 12 Louisiana State 22, No. 7 Auburn 21 —

At Auburn, Ala., Cole Tracy kicked a 42-yard field goal on the final play for LSU (3-0, 1-0), capping a 14-play drive that included two pass-interferen­ce calls against Auburn (2-1, 0-1). JaTarvious Whitlow ran for 104 yards for Auburn.

■ No. 8 Notre Dame 22, Vanderbilt 17 —

At South Bend, Ind., safety Jalen Elliott knocked the ball from wide receiver Kalija Lipscomb on a fourth-and-4 pass from the Fighting Irish 31 with 1:07 left to preserve a win by Notre Dame (3-0). The Commodores (2-1) held a 420-380 edge in yards of offense but had three turnovers; the Irish had none.

■ No. 16 Mississipp­i State 56, Louisiana-Lafayette 10 —

At Starkville, Miss., Nick Fitzgerald threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 107 yads and four scores for the Bulldogs (3-0), who totaled 607 yards of offense. The Ragin’ Cajuns (1-1) were 0-for-8 on third- and fourth-down conversion tries in the first half.

■ Tennessee 24, Texas-El Paso 0 —

At Knoxville, Tenn., Ty Chandler ran for 158 yards, including an 81-yard touchdown, for the Volunteers (2-1), who held a 259-85 edge in first-half yards of offense but led only 10-0 at intermissi­on. The Miners (0-3) haven’t led all season and have lost 15 straight games.

■ North Texas 44, Arkansas 17—

At Fayettevil­le, Ark., Mason Fine threw for 281 yards and a touchdown and ran for a score for the Mean Green (3-0) in their first non-forfeit win over an SEC team since 1975. The Razorbacks (1-2) were outgained 376-336 in yards of offense.

■ Florida 48, Colorado State 10—

At Gainesvill­e, Fla., Freddie Swain scored on an 85-yard punt return and a 15-yard reception for the Gators (2-1), who totaled 341 yards of offense. The Rams (1-3) fumbled four times, losing three, and missed two field goals.

■ Kentucky 48, Murray State 10—

At Lexington, Ky., Terry Wilson threw for 163 yards and ran for 80 yards for the Wildcats (3-0), who amassed 528 yards of offense, including 285 on the ground. The Racers (0-3) were outscored 31-7 in the second half.

■ Texas A&M 48, LouisianaM­onroe 10 —

At College Station, Texas, Kellen Mond threw for 210 yards and a touchdown and ran for 67 yards and two TDs for the Aggies (2-1). The Warhawks (2-1) were within 24-10 at halftime.
