■ No. 2 Clemson 38, Georgia Southern 7 —
At Clemson, S.C., Travis Etienne ran for 162 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers (3-0), who overcame two turnovers and a missed field goal in the first quarter. The Eagles (2-1), who had averaged 326 yards rushing per game, were outgained 595-140 in yards of offense.
■ No. 21 Miami 49, Toledo 24 —
At Toledo, Ohio, Malik Rosier threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 80 yards and three TDs for the Hurricanes (2-1), who never trailed. Mitchell Guadagni threw for two TDs for the Rockets (1-1).
■ Syracuse 30, Florida State 7—
At Syracuse, N.Y., freshman Tommy DeVito scored on a 3-yard run and threw a 3-yard touchdown pass after the Orange (3-0, 1-0) lost starting quarterback Eric Dungey to a second-quarter head injury. The Seminoles (1-2, 0-2), who totaled 240 yards of offense, trailed 6-0 at halftime.

At Reno, Ty Gangi passed for 195 yards and two touchdowns, and linebacker Malik Reed returned a fumble 48 yards for a TD for the Wolf Pack (2-1), who led 30-7 in the second quarter. Jordan Choukair missed a 33-yard field goal as time expired for the Beavers (1-2), who absorbed five sacks and averaged 2 yards rushing per carry.
■ Army 28, Hawaii 21 —
At West Point, N.Y., Kelvin Hopkins ran for 110 yards and two touchdowns
■ Pittsburgh 24, Georgia Tech 19 —
At Pittsburgh, Qadree Ollison ran for 91 yards and two and passed for 162 yards for the Black Knights (2-1), who iced the outcome when linebacker Cole Christiansen broke up a pass in the end zone with 54 seconds left. Cole McDonald threw for 321 yards and two TDs for the Rainbow Warriors (3-1).
■ New Mexico 45, New Mexico State 25 —
At Las Cruces, N.M., Ahmari Davis ran for 74 yards and four touchdowns for the Lobos (21), who intercepted the Aggies (0-4) five times, including two by safety touchdowns for the Panthers (2-1, 1-0), who limited the Yellow Jackets (1-2, 0-1) to one completed pass until their final drive. TaQuon Marshall ran for 103 yards and two TDs for Georgia Tech.
■ Louisville 20, Western Kentucky 17 —
At Louisville, Ky., Dae Williams ran for two 1-yard touchdowns in the fourth quarter for the Cardinals (2-1), who overcame a 14-0 deficit. Malik Cunningham ran for 129 yards for Louisville in its 10th straight win over the Hilltoppers (0-3), who fell short when Ryan Nuss’ 51-yard field-goal try sailed wide as time expired.
■ Virginia 45, Ohio 31 —
At Nashville, Tenn., Jordan Ellis scored on an 18-yard run and Olamide Zaccheaus on an 86-yard catchand-run on the first two offensive plays for the Cavaliers (2-1), and Ellis totaled three TDs in the first half, when the Bobcats (1-1) gave up 38 points. Marcus Hayes. Hayes returned one interception 60 yards for a TD. Safety Terrill Hanks returned an interception 28 yards for a New Mexico State score on the third play from scrimmage.
■ Wyoming 17, Wofford 14 —
At Laramie, Wyo., Raghib Ismail Jr. caught a 9-yard touchdown pass with 17 seconds left from Tyler Vander Waal, who threw for 133 yards in the final 15 minutes for the Cowboys (2-2). Lennox McAfee ran for 91 yards for the Terriers (2-1).
