At Stanford, Calif., K.J. Costello overcame two first-quarter intercepti­ons to throw two touchdown passes to JJ Arcega-Whiteside for the Cardinal (3-0). The Aggies (2-1) had averaged 49 points in their first two games.

■ No. 20 Oregon 35, San Jose State 22 —

At Eugene, Ore., Justin Herbert threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns, and freshman Cyrus Habibi-Likio scored on two 3-yard runs on his lone touches for the Ducks (3-0), won won their 23rd straight nonconfere­nce home game. The Spartans (0-3) totaled 296 yards of offense.

■ California 45, Idaho State 23 —

At Berkeley, Calif., Chase Garbers threw for three touchdowns, and safety Ashtyn Davis had a key intercepti­on and returned a kickoff 89 yards for a score for the Golden Bears (3-0). Mitch Guellar had six catches for 156 yards and a TD for the Bengals (1-1).

■ Washington State 59, Eastern Washington 24 —

At Pullman, Wash., Gardner Mishew threw for 470 yards and two touchdowns, Tay Martin had 13 catches for 149 yards, and James Williams ran for three TDs for the Cougars (3-0), who totaled 565 yards of offense. Gage Gubrud threw three TD passes for the Eagles (2-1) but was intercepte­d three times.

■ Colorado 45, New Hampshire 14 —

At Boulder, Colo., Travon McMillian ran for 162 yards, including touchdowns of 1 and 75 yards, for the Buffaloes (3-0), who led 35-0. Christian Lupoli threw a 71-yard TD pass to Neil O’Connor for the Wildcats (0-3).
