Norma Jean Aliano, born in Wash­ing­ton, D. C. in 1939 passed away peace­fully at home, Sept. 26, 2018 at the age of 79. She was a long­time res­i­dent of Las Ve­gas where she worked for the Clark County School Dis­trict, and re­tired in 2001. She loved gar­den­ing, sewing, mak­ing crafts, cross­word puz­zles and com­puter games. She is sur­vived by her sons, Wil­liam and Den­nis He­witt; her daugh­ters, Kathy Moore, Teresa Aliano and Michele Aliano-Weir; her sis­ter, Vickie French; nine grand­chil­dren; seven great-grand­chil­dren; and her dear friends, Jim and Donna Ponzio and Ge­orge Har­low. She will be greatly missed. Ser­vices will be pri­vate. Do­na­tions can be made in her honor to the Fisher House (www.fish­er­house.org), which helps mil­i­tary fam­i­lies stay to­gether while their loved one is re­cov­er­ing.
