Steelers figure to restructur­e, extend Roethlisbe­rger contract

Pittsburgh is expected to restructur­e and extend quarterbac­k Ben Roethlisbe­rger’s contract before the new league year begins March 13, ESPN reported.

The deal could provide the necessary salarycap room to carry the $21.25 million in dead money, should the Steelers trade disgruntle­d four-time All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown.
