Balanced Raptors get best of Antetokoun­mpo, Bucks

MILWAUKEE — Kawhi Leonard and Pascal Siakam each scored 30 points, with Siakam setting a career high, as the Toronto Raptors beat the Milwaukee Bucks 123-116 on Saturday in a matchup of the top two teams in the NBA standings.

Serge Ibaka added 25 points and nine rebounds, Fred VanVleet 21 points and Danny Green 12 points and nine rebounds for the Raptors (29-12), who slowly took charge in the second and third quarters and withstood the Bucks’ comeback attempt in the fourth.

Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 43 points and 18 rebounds, Malcolm Brogdon 15 points and Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe 14 points apiece for the Bucks (27-11), who had won five straight.

Milwaukee was coming off a 144-112 victory over Atlanta on Friday, while Toronto had a day to rest following a 125-107 loss to the Spurs on Thursday in Leonard’s return to San Antonio.

The Raptors put it away with a 15-2 run, going up 110-98 on Siakam’s wideopen 3 from the corner with 5:14 to play.

Trailing by as many as 13 points, the Bucks opened the fourth quarter with a 14-4 run, capped by Antetokoun­mpo’s layup and 3-pointer, and led 96-95 with 8:12 left.

At Portland, Ore., Jusuf Nurkic had 25 points and 15 rebounds for Portland, which snapped Houston’s six-game win streak and James Harden’s run of consecutiv­e 40-point games at five. Harden, who missed all eight of his firsthalf 3-point attempts, scored 29 of his 38 points in the second half.

■ Warriors 127, Kings 123 —

At Sacramento, Calif., Stephen Curry scored 20 of his 42 points in the fourth quarter and totaled 10 3-pointers for Golden State, which capped a three-game season-series sweep of Sacramento. The three games were decided by 10 points. Buddy Hield hit eight 3s and totaled 32 points for the Kings.

Philadelph­ia, Ben Simmons had 20 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists and Joel Embiid 25 points and 12 rebounds for Philadelph­ia, which was without All-Star Jimmy Butler (respirator­y infection) for a second straight game but moved to 17-3 at home.

At Detroit, Donovan Mitchell scored 24 of his 26 points in the second half for Utah, which overcame an 18-point secondquar­ter deficit. Blake Griffin scored 34 points for Detroit, which cut an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to one.

At Denver, Nikola Jokic scored a seasonhigh 39 points and added 12 rebounds, six assists and three steals for Westleadin­g Denver (26-11), which continued its best NBA start with its 10th straight home victory.

At San Antonio, Derrick White scored 19 points to lead San Antonio, which won for the 12th time in 15 games and dealt Memphis its fifth loss in a row. Mike Conley scored 21 points in 25 minutes for the Grizzlies. At

Cleveland, Jrue Holiday and Julius Randle scored 22 points apiece for New Orleans, which handed Cleveland its ninth straight loss. Jordan Clarkson led the Cavs with 23 points.
