DR. CHANCE HAIDER

-

Dr. Chance Haider, Las Vegas- It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our amazing father and friend, Chance Arnold Haider, who made his journey home back to his loving Heavenly Father December 26, 2018. Chance was born in 1972 in Cedar City, UT, to Paul and Shanna Haider. He was raised in Salt Lake County, by Steven Jacobsen, who he called Dad. He was an avid outdoorsman and had a passion for fishing hunting, hiking, and camping. He graduated from Taylorsville High School and continued on at Dixie State University, where he met and married Debra Theobald. Chance graduated Southern Utah University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology and Business Administration. He then furthered his education at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, where he received his Doctorate of Medical Density. Chance and Debra (1994-2012) were blessed with three beautiful children, Chandler, Sydney and Austin. After finishing his education they moved to Las Vegas, where he practiced. In 2014, Chance married Rita Florez and resided in Las Vegas until his passing. Chance was a beloved, gentle human being. He was loved by all, especially his children. Chance was a quiet, very kind and generous man with amazing qualities. He was humble and would give a stranger in need the shirt off his back. He loved serving others but above all he was a wonderful father and loved his children. Chance was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A gathering to celebrate and honor his life will be Saturday, January 26, 2019.
