LeRoy Wisenberg (Roy) age 79 of Boulder City, passed away December 10, 2018. Roy was born in Denver, November 10, 1939. He was an only child to Roy and Helen Wisenberg. He served in the U.S. Army for three years. During this time, he was stationed in Germany, where he met the love of his life, Doris Wisenberg and married his sweetie for a happy 51 years. They moved to Denver, in 1962. Roy joined the Denver Fire Department in July 1969, and retired in July 1994. They moved to Boulder City for their retirement years. Doris preceded him in passing in July of 2013. Roy enjoyed visiting family and friends. His hobbies included traveling, waterskiin­g, camping, NFL and NASCAR. Roy is survived by his son, Holger (Deana) Wisenberg, and their children, Abbie Morris (great-grandchild­ren) Michael, Tristan and Keana. Casey Yancey (Adam) and great-grandchild Everett. His daughter, Michaelle Starr and her children, Natasha Kaltenbach (Josh), Hana Starr (Robert), Taylor and Cody. Daughter, Heidi (Peter) Pucher and their children, Sascha, Rene’ and Klaus Peter. He also leaves behind other family and long-time friends. Services will be at 1 p.m. Fri., Jan. 18 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, NV 89005. Roy’s celebratio­n of life will follow at 3 p.m. at the Railroad Pass Casino, 1500 Railroad Pass Casino Rd., Henderson, NV 89002.
