LeRoy Wisenberg (Roy) age 79 of Boul­der City, passed away De­cem­ber 10, 2018. Roy was born in Den­ver, Novem­ber 10, 1939. He was an only child to Roy and Helen Wisenberg. He served in the U.S. Army for three years. Dur­ing this time, he was sta­tioned in Ger­many, where he met the love of his life, Doris Wisenberg and mar­ried his sweetie for a happy 51 years. They moved to Den­ver, in 1962. Roy joined the Den­ver Fire De­part­ment in July 1969, and re­tired in July 1994. They moved to Boul­der City for their re­tire­ment years. Doris pre­ceded him in pass­ing in July of 2013. Roy en­joyed vis­it­ing fam­ily and friends. His hob­bies in­cluded trav­el­ing, wa­ter­ski­ing, camp­ing, NFL and NASCAR. Roy is sur­vived by his son, Hol­ger (Deana) Wisenberg, and their chil­dren, Ab­bie Mor­ris (great-grand­chil­dren) Michael, Tris­tan and Keana. Casey Yancey (Adam) and great-grand­child Everett. His daugh­ter, Michaelle Starr and her chil­dren, Natasha Kal­tenbach (Josh), Hana Starr (Robert), Tay­lor and Cody. Daugh­ter, Heidi (Pe­ter) Pucher and their chil­dren, Sascha, Rene’ and Klaus Pe­ter. He also leaves be­hind other fam­ily and long-time friends. Ser­vices will be at 1 p.m. Fri., Jan. 18 at South­ern Ne­vada Vet­er­ans Me­mo­rial Ceme­tery, 1900 Vet­er­ans Me­mo­rial Dr., Boul­der City, NV 89005. Roy’s cel­e­bra­tion of life will fol­low at 3 p.m. at the Rail­road Pass Casino, 1500 Rail­road Pass Casino Rd., Hen­der­son, NV 89002.
