Warriors slip past Celtics, grab 10th straight victory

BOSTON — Kevin Durant scored 33 points and Stephen Curry 24 as Golden State edged the Boston Celtics 115111 on Saturday for the Warriors’ 10th consecutiv­e win.

Kyrie Irving had 32 points and 10 assists and Al Horford 22 points and 13 rebounds for Boston, which had won five straight and 10 in a row at home.

In a game featuring 21 lead changes, the Warriors went up 113-111 with 47 seconds left on Klay Thompson’s lone free throws and held on as Boston had three chances to tie it or take the lead.

Marcus Smart rimmed out on a 3-pointer, Irving airballed a fadeaway from the baseline, and Morris was short on a 3.

Draymond Green then missed two free throws for Golden State but got his rebound, and Curry made two foul shots with 6.2 seconds left to ice it.

Golden State opened a 56-47 lead in the last five minutes of in the second quarter, but the Celtics scored the next 10 points.

■ Trail Blazers 120, Hawks 111 — At

Portland, Ore., C.J. McCollum had 28 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds in his first triple-double for Portland, which

gave top scorer Damian Lillard the night off. Seth Curry had 22 points in his place. Trae Young had 30 points and eight assists for Atlanta.

■ Nuggets 126, 76ers

110 — At Denver, Nikola Jokic had 32 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists in his seventh tripledoub­le of the season for Denver in his return from a one-game suspension. Philadelph­ia was without top scorer Joel Embiid (rest) and third-leading scorer Jimmy Butler (wrist).

■ Spurs 126, Pelicans 114 — At New Orleans, LaMarcus Aldridge overcame a sore left wrist to total 28 points and 12 rebounds for San Antonio, which snapped a two-game skid and dealt New Orleans its third loss in a row. Jrue Holiday scored 29 points for the Pelicans.

■ Grizzlies 106, Pacers 103 — At Memphis, Tenn., Mike Conley had 22 points and 11 assists for Memphis, which scored 20 points off 18 turnovers while halting its eight-game slide and Indiana’s three-game win streak. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 21 points for the Pacers.
