At Reno, Carson Strong threw for 420 yards and four TDs, including a 9-yard winner to Romeo Doubs in overtime, for the Wolf Pack (1-0, 1-0), who led 28-6 with 3:26 left in the third quarter.

John Hoyland made four field goals for the Cowboys (0-1, 0-1), including a 42-yarder with 23 seconds left in the fourth quarter and a 38-yarder in overtime.

Cole Turner had seven catches for 119 yards and two TDs for UNR, and Doubs had 12 catches for 117 yards and the winning score. Levi Williams threw for 227 yards and a TD and had scoring runs of 21 and 8 yards for Wyoming.

■ Boise State 42, Utah State 13: At Boise, Idaho, Hank Bachmeier threw for 268 yards and three TDs for the Broncos (1-0, 1-0), who held the Aggies (0-1, 0-1) to 45 yards of offense in the first half while winning their home opener for the 11th straight season. George Holani ran for 100 yards and two TDs, and Khalil Shakir had seven catches for 123 yards and two TDs for Boise State, which hasn’t lost a conference opener since 1999.
