Ball youngest to post triple-double

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — LaMelo Ball became the youngest NBA player to record a triple-double with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, helping Charlotte beat Atlanta 113-105 on Saturday for the Hornets’ third straight win. Ball, 19, replaced Markelle Fultz as the youngest to achieve the feat by 177 days.

■ Bucks 100, Cavaliers 90: At Milwaukee, Khris Middleton scored 27 points for Milwaukee, which was without MVP Giannis Antetokoun­mpo (back spasms). Andre Drummond had 26 points and 24 rebounds for Cleveland.

■ Nuggets 115, 76ers 103:

At Philadelph­ia, Nikola Jokic had 15 points and 12 points for Denver. Tyrese Maxey scored 39 points for Philadelph­ia, which had only seven available players because of injuries and COVID-19 protocol.

■ Spurs 125, Timberwolv­es 122, OT: At Minneapoli­s, DeMar DeRozan scored 38 points for San Antonio, which dealt Minnesota its seven straight loss. Karl-Anthony Towns had 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Timberwolv­es.

■ Mavericks 112, Magic 98: At Dallas, Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 36 points and Trey Burke 29 for Dallas, which got over .500 for the first time this season. Nikola Vucevic had 30 points and 15 rebounds for Orlando.

■ Heat 128, Wizards 124:

At Washington, Tyler Herro scored 31 points for Miami. Washington (2-8), winless in five home games, was without league-leading scorer Bradley Beal (COVID-19 protocol).

■ Suns 125, Pacers 117: At Indianapol­is, Mikal Bridges scored 34 points for Phoenix (7-3), which tied the Lakers atop the West. Domantas Sabonis had 28 points and 22 rebounds Indiana.

■ Trail Blazers 125, Kings 99:

At Sacramento, Calif., C.J. McCollum had 37 points for Portland, which scored 30 points off 15 Sacramento turnovers.
