Nets’ Harden tallies triple-double

NBANEW YORK — James Harden had 32 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds in his Brooklyn debut, and Kevin Durant scored a season-high 42 points in his first game back with his former teammate as the Nets downed the Orlando Magic 122-115 on Saturday.

Harden, cleared to play earlier in the day after all the players in the trade that brought him from Houston had completed their physicals, also had nine turnovers.

He had no practice time with the Nets but became the first player in franchise history to have a triple-double in his debut.

Durant made five 3-pointers in his 10th game back following an 18-month layoff after rupturing his Achilles tendon in the 2019 NBA Finals. He hiked his average

to 30.7 points.

■ Raptors 116, Hornets 113:

At Tampa, Fla., Chris Boucher, Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet hit eight straight free throws in the final two minutes for Toronto, which was led by Norman Powell’s 24 points. Gordon Heyward scored 25 for Charlotte.

■ Grizzlies 106, 76ers 104: At Memphis, Tenn., Ja Morant had 17 points and six assists after an eight-game injury absence for Memphis, which led by 13 in the fourth quarter. Shake Milton scored 28 points for Philadelph­ia.

■ Spurs 103, Rockets 91: At San Antonio, DeMar DeRozan scored 24 points for San Antonio, which snapped a four-game skid. UNLV product Christian Wood had 24 points and 17 rebounds for Houston.

■ Pistons 120, Heat 100: At Miami, Jerami Grant scored 24 points and reserve Derrick Rose 23 for Detroit, which erased a four-point halftime deficit with a 38-19 third-quarter scoring edge.
