UNITED WAY OF SOUTHERN NEVADA has hired Brett McAnnany as director of donor relationsh­ips in mid-July. McAnnany, a Las Vegas native, will be responsibl­e for encouragin­g investment­s throughout Southern Nevada through the Tocquevill­e Society and other giving opportunit­ies, according to a news release.

In his role, he will act as a philanthro­pic adviser to help donors direct their funds.

“As a Las Vegas native, Brett has a passion for serving Southern Nevada that is driven by a family legacy of helping those who need it most,” UWSN Interim President and CEO Kelly Shaw said in a statement. “With lasting relationsh­ips built on a foundation of trust, Brett has spent decades building a wide-reaching network, which he will leverage to expand United Way’s impact in our community.”

TSK Architects announced Bruce

Preston, managing principal, and Ree Miskimon, director of marketing, as graduates of the prestigiou­s Society of American Military Engineers Leadership Developmen­t Program.

D’Arrigo’s board membership became effective following the closing of the company’s initial public offering on July 27.

D’Arrigo most recently served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of MGM Resorts Internatio­nal, from 2007 to 2019. He was part of the team that created what’s now BetMGM, a joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain. At Gambling.com Group, he will serve as chairman of the nominating and governance committee and will serve as a member of the audit committee.

The Neon Museum has announced the hiring of Aaron Berger as the museum’s executive director. Berger brings extensive experience in museum leadership, nonprofit fundraisin­g and community engagement to the Las Vegas museum.

Berger, who has relocated to Las Vegas from Atlanta, most recently served as the executive director for The Breman Museum in Atlanta. During his tenure, annual attendance rose by 32 percent and the museum received accolades such as “Must See Destinatio­n” by Trip Advisor and one of the “Best Museums in Atlanta” by USA Today 10 Best, according to a release from the Neon Museum.
