Jets QB Wilson expected to miss two to four weeks
New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and is expected to be sidelined two to four weeks. The 23-yearold Brigham Young product, who sustained a noncontact injury Friday, was diagnosed with a bone bruise and a meniscus tear. The procedure date is Zach Wilson
pending a second opinion. Wilson missed four games last year, his rookie season, with a right PCL sprain that didn’t require surgery.
■ Browns: Starting center Nick Harris likely will need season-ending surgery on his right knee that was injured on the second play of Cleveland’s preseason opener Friday at Jacksonville, coach Kevin Stefanski said. Also, quarterback Jacoby Brissett will take the majority of snaps with the first-team offense starting Sunday, a move necessitated by Deshaun Watson’s pending suspension, Stefanski said.
■ Ravens: Quarterback Lamar Jackson said he will stop contract negotiations when the regular season starts. If a deal isn’t finalized by March 7, the team would have to put the franchise tag on the 25-year-old 2019 NFL MVP to keep him from becoming an unrestricted free agent.
