CLAUDIA GRIDLEY STABILE MARGHILANO 1938-2022
At 6:27pm, 2/23/22, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, stepmother, sister, aunt and friend, Claudia passed peacefully at home with family and pets by her side. On this day Claudia lost her short but treacherous battle with cancer. She handled this battle with grace, dignity and most importantly, a sense of humor along the way as only she could. Claudia is survived by her husband, Joseph Marghilano; sister, Elizabeth Buckley; sons Matt (Angela) Stabile; and Mark (Lorrie) Stabile; daughter, Amy (Duke) Stabile; stepchildren, John (Mimi) Stabile, Judy (Donna) Stabile, and Julie Marghilano; grandchildren and step-grandchildren Alex, Audrie, Isabella and Olivia Stabile, Danielle Lewis, Tiffany (Nate) Mondell, and Frankie (Allie) Sidoris. Claudia and Joe E. Stabile (Joey) married bringing their two families happily together for 25 years before Joey’s passing in 2004. During these years Claudia and Joey loved and managed Jerry (Sam) Lewis. In 2007 Claudia married Joseph Marghilano. Together they shared a love for music and animals. Claudia touched the lives of so many. A gourmet cook, she loved to entertain family and friends at her home on Shadow Lane. Claudia’s legacy was her exceptional gift of making everyone feel uniquely special and loved. Claudia was lovingly remembered in a “family only” celebration of life at her home in April. In honor of her love of animals and in memory of her beloved great niece Lauren (8/14/1993 – 9/19/2018) the family asks donations be made to the Lauren Elizabeth Foundation, benefitting the rescue, rehoming, spay, neutering and immunization of animals in rural Nevada, at the link below: www.laurenelizabeth.org
