Ravens top Commanders in 23rd straight exhibition win

BALTIMORE — Anthony Brown was 15 of 19 passing for 256 yards and a touchdown and scored on a 6-yard run, helping Baltimore extend its record preseason win streak to 23 games with a 17-15 victory over Washington. The Ravens (3-0) haven’t lost a preseason game since falling to Atlanta 20-19 on Sept. 3, 2015.

The Commanders (0-3) pulled within two with 5:31 left when rookie Sam Howell threw a 13-yard TD pass to running back Reggie Bonnafon. A 2-point conversion pass was incomplete.

Howell, a fifth-round draft pick, was 24 of 35 passing for 280 yards and the TD.

Brown completed his first eight passes, including a 67-yard TD strike to former Raiders wide receiver Demarcus Robinson that put Baltimore up 7-3.

■ Falcons 28, Jaguars 12: At Atlanta, Desmond Ridder shook off an intercepti­on on his first pass to finish 14 of 25 for 185 yards, including a 2-yard TD to fellow rookie Tyler Allgeier, as Atlanta (2-1) won its first home preseason game since 2016. E.J. Perry went the distance at QB for Jacksonvil­le (0-4), going 19 of 27 passing for 201 yards with two intercepti­ons.

■ Dolphins 48, Eagles 10: At Miami Gardens, Fla., Tua Tagovailoa hit wide receiver Tyreek Hill for 51 yards on the first play from scrimmage for Miami (2-1), which set a franchise record for scoring in a preseason game. Tagovailoa finished 6 of 7 passing for 121 yards and a TD in three series. Philadelph­ia (1-2) yielded 494 yards of offense, including 203 on the ground.

■ Titans 26, Cardinals 23: At Nashville, Tenn., Logan Woodside scrambled for a 9-yard TD on fourthand-goal with 52 seconds left for Tennessee (2-1). Titans rookie QB Malik Willis was 15 of 23 passing for 131 yards and ran four times for 79 yards. Trace Mcsorley completed his first seven passes for 71 yards for Arizona (1-2).

■ Colts 27, Buccaneers 10: At Indianapol­is, QB Sam Ehlinger had a 45-yard TD run on the second play of the second half for Indianapol­is (1-2). Tom Brady led Tampa Bay (0-3) to a field goal in his lone series, going 6 of 8 passing for 44 yards while converting one fourth down on an 11-play, 66yard march.

■ Bengals 16, Rams 7: At Cincinnati, Jake Browning came off the bench to go 19 of 24 passing for 173 yards, including a 3-yard TD to tight end Justin Rigg with 4:34 left to secure the win for Cincinnati (1-2). Third-string QB Bryce Perkins scrambled for the lone TD for Los Angeles (1-2) with 11:25 left.

■ Bears 21, Browns 20: At Cleveland, Justin Fields was 14 of 16 passing for 156 yards and three first-half TDS for Chicago (3-0), which led 21-0. Jacoby Brissett was 13 of 23 passing for 109 yards with an intercepti­on in six series for Cleveland (1-2).
