On August 22, 2022, Jane Ann Wilcox passed away peacefully at home knowing she would be welcomed in heaven by our Lord Jesus Christ. She was surrounded by her loving husband, one of her three sons, and one of her grandsons. Jane very bravely, stoically, and without complaint battled a painful lung cancer. Jane was born on September 30, 1942, in St. Louis and grew up in Webster Groves, MO, where she lived with her parents, Melba and Ted Weiskotten. In 1962, Jane graduated from the University of Iowa with a major in in speech pathology. She was a 32 year resident of Henderson and sold new homes for Signature Homes for 12 years prior to retiring in 2003. Jane was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church; A member of the Walk to Emmaus community where she sponsored a number of new members. Jane was a devoted member of Women of Spirit and served on the board for many years. She also worked diligently at the St. Timothy’s charity food kitchen. Jane was an avid quilter and made many beautiful quilts displayed in her home. She loved to travel with her husband and had been around the world several times. She loved animals, and the highlight of her travels was a safari to Tanzania and Kenya. Jane is survived by her husband, Loren Wilcox; 3 sons, Brad Naso, Jason Naso, Curt Naso; and 13 wonderful Grandchild­ren. A celebratio­n of Jane’s life will be held at Green Valley Baptist Church, September 14, 2011 at 11 AM. A reception will be held at the church following the service. Memorial gifts may be given to Green Valley Baptist Church.
