Sports betting has exploded across the U.S. since a 2018 Supreme

Court ruling allowed states to decide if they wanted to join Nevada in legalizing wagering.

Now, 35 states and Washington, D.C., have legalized betting in some

form. California would be the next big chip to

fall, if voters approve one or both of the sports betting proposals on the

November ballot.
