Aces’ Wilson scores 20, helps U.S. upend China
Aces forward A’ja Wilson scored 20 points to help the United States beat China 77-63 at the women’s World Cup in Sydney. The Americans (3-0), who have won 25 straight World Cup games, advanced to the quarterfinals. Li Meng scored 21 points for China (2-1), which was within 69-60 with two minutes left.
■ NBA: New Orleans guard C.J. Mccollum agreed to a two-year, $64 million extension that makes his entire deal worth $133 million through 202526. The 31-year-old averaged 24.3 points in 26 games after the Pelicans acquired him Feb. 8 from Portland.
