Aztecs’ TD in final minute sinks Toledo

SAN DIEGO — Jordan Byrd ran for 115 yards and two touchdowns, including a go-ahead 1-yard score with 41 seconds left, to help San Diego State beat Toledo 1714 on Saturday.

Braxton Burmeister was 13 of 24 passing for 65 yards and ran for 44 yards on eight carries for the Aztecs (2-2). He was 3-for-4 passing for 25 yards and ran three times for 46 yards on the decisive drive.

Dequan Finn threw for 240 yards and a TD with three intercepti­ons and ran for a score for the Rockets (2-2), who took their first lead after a 93-yard drive with 2:56 left.

■ Sacramento State 41, Colorado State 10: At Fort Collins, Colo., Asher O’hara ran for two TDS and threw for another for the Hornets, who are 3-0 for the first time since 1992 and improved to 2-23 against Football Bowl Subdivisio­n teams. The Rams (0-4) lost quarterbac­k Clay Millen to a second-quarter injury.

■ Louisiana State 38, New Mexico 0: At Baton Rouge, La., Jayden Daniels was 24 of 29 passing for 279 yards for the Tigers (3-1) before exiting with a third-quarter injury after being slammed to the ground by safety A.J. Haulcy. The Lobos (2-2) totaled 88 yards of offense.
