-

■ 5-8 guard, Washington

By the numbers: 20.2 points, 5.1 assists, 42 percent from 3

Plum emerged as one of the WNBA’S most feared guards in 2022. She earned her first All-star appearance, won Allstar Game MVP and was named to the ALL-WNBA first team for the first time.

Her 3-point shooting was a perfect fit for coach Becky Hammon’s system, helping the former Washington guard fully live up to her status as a former No. 1 overall pick.

Plum was also efficient, shooting 42 percent from 3. Her 20.2 points per game average was second in the WNBA and first on the Aces. Plum led the league in 3-point field goals made, finishing with 21 more than her nearest rival. She also averaged 5.1 assists per game, a career-best.

Plum made 113 3s during the regular season. She’s the only WNBA player not named Diana Taurasi to make at least 100 3s in a single season. Taurasi achieved the feat in 2006 and ‘18.
