Notre Dame
By the numbers: 15.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists
Young took a giant step forward in 2022. She was named the WNBA’S Most Improved Player and made her first All-star appearance. The former Notre Dame wing saw her statistical output rise in points, rebounds and 3-point percentage. Young also led all Aces players by averaging 33.2 minutes per game.
The All-star wing’s defense became the most important part of her game in the postseason. Young drew the most challenging perimeter assignments in each round of the playoffs.
