2 RIQUNA WILLIAMS
5-7 guard, Miami
By the numbers: 6.7 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists
Williams didn’t have the strongest start to the season. A foot injury delayed her season debut and limited her to 21 regular-season appearances, but the veteran guard still emerged as the team’s most trusted reserve. She moved to the bench after starting all 32 games in 2021.
Her 3 with 10.2 seconds remaining in Game 3 of the WNBA semifinals helped the Aces send the game to overtime against the Seattle Storm, and she was the team’s second-leading scorer in the close-out Game 4 of the WNBA Finals against the Connecticut Sun.
Did you know?
Williams’ 17 points in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals versus the Sun was her highest-scoring game of the season. Her 11-point fourth quarter alone was more than 16 of her 21 regular-season full-game totals.
