Fentanyl crisis is our own doing

Pearl Harbor and 9/11 cannot be compared to the fentanyl crisis. Did we invite the Japanese to bomb Hawaii? Did we paint a bull’s-eye on the side of the World Trade Center?

No one is breaking into people’s homes and stuffing pills down their throats. If people are stupid enough to swallow mystery pills that they buy in parking lots, they should face the consequences on their own.

People need to take responsibility for their own actions. It is not society’s duty to be every individual’s mommy.
