EDITH L. CARLOCK
Edith L. Carlock Born December 3, 1945 to Erma Olds-carlock and Kenneth Carlock in Tillamook, OR.
She attended Washington grade school, Helen Mccune Jr. High, and graduated from Pendleton Sr. High School in 1964, where she lettered in tennis. Eventually she moved to Reno, NV where she became involved with officiating little league baseball and became the first female umpire in Nevada little league history. When asked by the local paper if she was doing it for equal rights, she replied, "No, I'm doing it for the love of the game." She loved sports, Especially the Oregon Ducks.
By 1977 she had followed her family to Las Vegas,nv where had a 20 years career with KFC followed by a long happy retirement until her passing on September 30th, 2022.
She leaves behind
Her Sister, Leni Pearce
Brother and Sister-in-law, Jay and Lois Carlock
As well as several extended family members that she loved and will miss her dearly.
She will be laid to rest on October 25th, 2022 at Craig road pet cemetery at 11 am.
