Col HARRY C. KING, DVM U.S. Air Force, Retired

Harry King passed away September 8, 2022. He was born January 20, 1942 in Hollywood, FL to Doris and Carl King. Harry attended the University of Florida and graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1967. He joined the U.S. Air Force after graduation and was stationed in England for four years. Upon completing his active duty, Harry arrived in Las Vegas to begin his veterinary practice. He built the Animal Clinic of St. Francis in 1977 and then Legacy Animal Hospital in 1995 until his retirement in 2008. He is survived by his wife, of 44 years, Ann; son, Ryan King; daughters, Elizabeth Matto and Sarah Thomas; four grandchildren; and sister, Deanna Thomas. Services will be 10:40am-11:10am Tue., Oct. 18, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005.
