REBECCA LEE MILLS
Rebecca Lee Mills was born on 3 May 1959, in Indianapolis, IN to Sandra Kay Stewart and Franklin Delano Roosevelt Powell. She passed away at her home in Pahrump, NV on 4 October 2022.
After spending her early years in Indianapolis, she moved with her family to Tucson, AZ and then on to California. She raised her children somewhat nomadically throughout the state of California. She eventually moved to Pahrump to be close to her children and grandchildren.
Becky worked as a caretaker for the elderly for most of her life. In the last few years she enrolled in college and was majoring in psychology and aspired to be a drug counselor. She and her family were very proud of this achievement. She will be remembered for her love for family, her great sense of humor, and her talent for storytelling.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Mills, daughter Rachel Sanders, step-son Chris Orduno, son Nathan Sanders, daughter Kimberly Macdonald, son Jack Mills, daughter Katiejane Purvis-mills, daughter Sabrina Marquez, son Ryan Mills, son Seth Mills, grandsons Joe Clark, Ethan Purvis, Gage Orduno, Seth Romanguzman, Elijah Pena-mills, Jordan Purvis, Isaac Marquez, Elias Marquez, Jameson Purvis, Mason Mills, granddaughters Samantha Campos, Aubrey Orduno, Jozilyn Pena-mills, Amelia Pena-mills, Reese Veltri, Adalynn Purvis, Kathleen Veltri, Paisley Purvis, brother Franklin Powell, Jr., and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughters Sarah Mills and Kasandra Cunningham, brothers Carl Powell, Rocky Powell, and sister Rosemary Powell.
