Heather Leigh Piper Moran, 45, died after a courageous fight with cancer on September 18, 2022. She was born on July 26, 1977 in Oneida, NY, the daughter of Preston (Mike) and Pamela (Ashley) Piper. Heather graduated from Camden Senior High School in 1995. Following graduation, she attended SUNY Delhi. Heather loved interactin­g with others and started her career in the service industry at Eddie’s Restaurant and Turning Stone Casino. In 1997, she decided to venture away and relocated to Las Vegas, NV, where she met her husband, Edward Moran. In addition to her husband Ed, she leaves behind their beloved dogs, Sophia, Lucy, and Atlas, who reside in Lapine, OR. Heather is survived by her parents and siblings, Michele (Everett) Lago and Bryan (Jenelle) Piper, both of Rochester, NY. Grandfathe­r, Elmer Ashley of Rochester, NY. Loving aunts and uncles, Jeannie Day, Patty Vanderpool, Jeff Vanderpool, Tammy Ashley, Kelly Ashley, Pete Piper, Danny Piper, Christine Piper, and Christophe­r Piper. Her loving nieces and nephews, Matthew, Sarah, Anna, Jacob, and Benjamin. Cousins Amanda, Ryan, Jason, and Jennifer. Along with her lifelong friend, Shannon Danaher. She is predecease­d by brother, Michael Andrew Piper. Maternal grandmothe­r, Dorothy (Riddell) Ashley and paternal grandparen­ts, Ethel (May) Vanderpool, Jack Vanderpool, Preston Paige Piper Sr., and Cathy (Granger) Piper. Uncles Allen Ashley, David Piper, and Billy Piper. Friends and family are welcome to attend a Celebratio­n of Life on Saturday, October 22nd at 3 pm at Charlie’s Lake Side Casino 8603 W.
