Fowler enters final round in Japan with narrow lead

Rickie Fowler shot 4-under-par 66 for a 14-under 196 total to take a onestroke lead into the Zozo Championship’s final round in Inzai City, Japan. Keegan Bradley (66) was alone in second, with second-round co-leader Andrew Putnam (68) two shots back. Fowler, 33, once ranked as high as No. 4, seeks his sixth PGA Tour win and first since 2019.

■ LIV: At King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia, Peter Uihlein shot 7-under 63 for a 12-under 128 total to take a one-stroke lead into the Jeddah Invitational’s final round. Brooks Koepka (67) was alone in second.

■ DP World: At Sotogrande, Spain, Adrian Otaegui shot 7-under 64 for a 16-under 197 total to take a six-stroke lead into the Andalucia Masters’ final round. The 29-year-old Spaniard seeks his fourth tour win.

■ Champions: At Cary, N.C., Fred Couples shot 4-under 68 to tie Y.E. Yang (70) for a one-stroke SAS Championship lead at 8-under 136 entering the final round.
