RALPH JOHN VITELLO

Ralph John Vitello of Las Vegas, passed away October 20, 2022. He was born January 20, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY. In 1983 he moved to Staten Island, NY and lived there for 23 years. In 1970 he met the love of his life, Joyce and they were married January 1, 1979. He was an active member of The St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church where he was proud to serve as an Usher and was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree. Ralph spent 42 years in Construction Management. He took great pride in what he did. On 9/11, his company was called upon to help with the efforts to which there was no hesitation and he spent the next four weeks assisting everyone he could. He retired in 2008. He had many hobbies and interests but his favorites were bowling and fishing. He was in several bowling leagues in Las Vegas and New York was his favorite place to fish. He loved to decorate for the holidays. His favorite tradition was putting up the Christmas lights with his Sister in Law, Shelly. You could always hear them laughing and occasionally fighting. He loved his friends and family and enjoyed spending time with them and making memories. He especially loved spending time with his family in Florida. Making people laugh was Ralph’s favorite. He will be missed beyond measure by all who knew him. Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; Daughters, Lisa (Bert) Perez and Lori Vitellosummers and her Fiancé Edward Lee Fox Jr.; Granddaughter, Amanda Perez; Grandsons, Kyle and Benjamin Summers; Niece, Dawn Zumbro; Sister in Law, Shelly Khan-lava as well as many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diana Vitello. Visitation will be at 6pm Mon., Nov. 7, at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146. Service will be at 10am Tue. Nov. 8, at St. Joseph Husband of Mary, 7260 W. Sahara, Las Vegas, NV 89117.
