RECAP: Defenseman Daniil Miromanov and left wing Gage Quinney each scored their second goals of the season to break a 1-1 tie in the second period, and Jiri Patera helped the lead stand up with 43 saves as the Silver Knights ended a fourgame losing streak. Right wing Jermaine Loewen added his first of the season at 14:10 of the first period. Silver Knights’ penalty killers had a rare off night, allowing goals to Tristen Nielsen and Lane Pederson. Coming in, the unit had been scored on just three times.

BETWEEN THE PIPES: Arturs Silovs stopped 24 of 27 shots for the Canucks. Patera upped his save percentage to .898.

ALSO: Miromanov and Quinney each have seven points, tied for second best on the Silver Knights behind right wing Sheldon Rempal (nine), who assisted on Quinney’s power-play goal.
