Silver Knights 3, Ontario 1 Dollar Loan Center ■ RECAP: Gage Quinney broke a 1-1 tie midway through the third period, lifting the Silver Knights to their third win in four games. Sheldon Rempal added an empty-netter, his team-high sixth of the season. Tyler Madden scored the equalizer for Ontario in the second period, four minters after Daniil Miromanov scored his fifth of the season for the Silver Knights.

Quinney’s goal was his fourth of the season and came on a power play. Rempal and Miromanov each had assists.

■ RECORDS: Ontario (7-5); Silver Knights (5-11-0)

■ BETWEEN THE PIPES: Jiri Patera stopped 33 of 34 shots for the Golden Knights, while Matthew Villaitga made 23 saves for Ontario.

■ ALSO: The Silver Knights were 0-for-1 on the power play, and they killed off all three of Ontario’s chances with the man advantage.
