Raiders activate Hobbs off injured reserve list
The Raiders activated cornerback Nate Hobbs to the active roster Saturday, making the 23-year-old eligible to play Sunday.
Hobbs has been on injured reserve since Oct. 17 after undergoing surgery to repair the broken left hand sustained in Week 5 at Kansas City. He has 36 tackles this season after totaling 74 over 16 games in 2021.
To make room on the 53-man roster, guard Lester Cotton was placed on IR after being limited at practice with a calf injury. The Raiders also elevated defensive tackle Kyle Peko from the practice squad to the active roster.
■ Rams: QB Matthew Stafford was placed on IR, one day after the 34-year-old cleared the NFL’S concussion protocol for a second time this season. Stafford already had been ruled out for Sunday because of a neck injury.
■ Lions: Rookie wide receiver Jameson Williams (knee) was activated from IR. The Alabama product, drafted 12th overall, had been sidelined all year after sustaining a torn ACL in last season’s NCAA title game.
■ Saints: Tight end Juwan Johnson (ankle) was ruled out for Monday, and cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) is questionable. Lattimore, a four-time Pro Bowl pick, has been sidelined since Week 6.
■ Buccaneers: Running back Leonard Fournette (hip), wide receiver Russell Gage (hamstring) and tight end Cameron Brate (illness) are questionable for Monday.
■ Bears: Trevor Siemian (oblique) was placed on IR, and fellow QB Nathan Peterman — a former Raider — was signed to the active roster.
■ Broncos: Running back Mike Boone (ankle) was activated from IR, and wide receiver K.J. Hamler (hamstring) was placed on IR.
