Marilyn Ann Adams, 71, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was the eldest child born July 12, 1951 in Watertown, MN to Verna and Harold Callow.

Marilyn’s family moved to Salinas, CA when she was in elementary school where she lived until she enlisted in the military right after graduating from High School. Marilyn served in the United States Air Force, where she met and married fellow Airman TSGT

Terrance J. Fishburn. Marilyn was an Airman with WAF (Women in the Air Force), from 1969 until she was Honorably Discharged from the service as a Staff Sergeant in 1974 before giving birth to her eldest daughter. Her time in the military was one of her most proud accomplishments apart from raising her family. She decided to return to the workforce a few years later after having her youngest daughter and retired after 40 years as an ER Admitting Clerk at North Vista Hospital. Marilyn loved spending quality time with her family and friends. She spent most weekends with her daughter, Dawn, her son-inlaw, Nelson, her grandson, Jaydon, and her two great-grandkids, Jazmin & Jesse Aiden. Her hobbies included listening to music, watching movies, and collecting anything Betty Boop related. Marilyn was predeceased by her Mother and Father; her younger brother, Dean Callow; and her beloved son, Christopher Sean Fishburn. Marilyn is survived by her two daughters, Dawn Fishburn and Candice Fisher; grandson, Jaydon Alejandro; great-granddaughter, Jazmin Alejandro; great-grandson, Jesse Aiden Alejandro; and younger siblings, Leland Callow and Patricia Stone. We know she is at peace and pain free in heaven where she will be reunited with her long-lost loved ones and her precious dog Suzi-q. Marilyn will be dearly missed very much by all who knew and loved her, especially by her daughters, sons-in-law, grandson, and greatgrandkids. Friends are invited to join our family to celebrate the life of Marilyn at noon Mon., Jan. 30. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005.
