Oak View Group appointed Chandra Allison to the newly created role of senior vice president of strategy and growth for meetings, conventions and exhibitions. Allison will oversee the firm’s convention center business, including for its $3 billion OVG Las Vegas Hotel and Casino project that will include an adjacent 20,000-seat Nba-ready arena.

Allison joins the company after a 24-year stint at The Venetian where she most recently served as senior vice president of sales and marketing — M.I.C.E and leisure.

Robert Cerminaro is the

new CEO of Bank of Nevada and First Independent Bank.

He succeeds John Guedry, who retired last year from his role as CEO after more than a decade. Cerminaro joined the company in September 2022 to facilitate the leadership transition. He brings more than 25 years of banking experience to Western Alliance, parent company of Bank of Nevada and First Independent Bank. Most recently, Cerminaro served as managing director and head of midcorporate banking at Santander Bank in New York.

“Bob is a proven leader who brings with him a wealth of experience in commercial banking and an ability to build close ties with customers, both of which will serve us well in the fast-growing Nevada market,” said Tim Bruckner, chief banking officer for regional banking at Western Alliance.

Michael Clutts was named president of commercial construction at WTD Development & Construction, a real estate and general construction company based in Las Vegas. He will manage contractors, scheduling, procurement inspections as well as testing and closeout of commercial projects, among other responsibilities. Clutts, who has more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry, previously served as the company’s vice president of construction.

Marketing agency Braintrust promoted Sunny Wanser to director of digital development. Wanser joined Braintrust in 2014 as senior web developer, after serving as development manager at Boyd Gaming. In her new role, she will build custom websites, maintain hosting platforms and manage the digital development team while providing technical guidance to clients.
