COLLEGE BASKETBALL No. 5 Kansas, down by 15, rallies to rout No. 9 Baylor

Dajuan Harris scored all 14 of his points in the second half as No. 5 Kansas overcame a 15-point deficit to beat No. 9 Baylor 87-71. Jalen Wilson had 21 points and 13 rebounds for the host Jayhawks (22-5, 10-4 Big 12), who had a 55-26 scoring edge after intermissi­on. Adam Flagler scored 22 points and Keyonte George 20 for the Bears (20-7, 9-5).

■ No. 1 Alabama 108, Georgia 59:

At Tuscaloosa, Ala., the Crimson Tide (23-4, 13-1 SEC) hit 16 of 34 3-point tries en route to a season scoring high. The Bulldogs (16-11, 6-8) trailed 54-25 at halftime.

■ No. 6 Texas 85, Oklahoma 83, OT: At Austin, Texas, Sir’jabari Rice scored 20 of his 24 points after halftime for the Longhorns (21-6, 10-4 Big 12) in their fifth straight win over the Sooners (13-14, 3-11).

■ No. 7 Virginia 57, Notre Dame 55: At Charlottes­ville, Va., Kihei Clark hit two free throws with 22.6 seconds left and totaled 15 points for the Cavaliers (21-4, 13-3 ACC), who dropped the Fighting Irish (10-17, 2-14) to 0-10 on the road.

■ No. 8 Arizona 78, Colorado 68: At Tucson, Ariz., Oumar Ballo had 18 points and 16 rebounds for the Wildcats (24-4, 13-4 Pac-12), who erased a 12-point firsthalf deficit. The Buffaloes (15-13, 7-10) were outscored 40-24 in the paint.

■ Kentucky 66, No. 10 Tennessee 54: At Lexington, Ky., the Wildcats (18-9, 9-5 SEC) raced to a 39-19 halftime lead and capped their first regular-season sweep of the Volunteers (20-7, 9-5) since 2011-12.

■ No. 12 Kansas State 61, No. 19 Iowa State 55: At Manhattan, Kan., Markquis Nowell hit a 3-pointer from near midcourt with 2:42 left and totaled 20 points for the Wildcats (20-7, 8-6 Big 12), who held the Cyclones (17-8, 8-6) to 30.6 percent shooting.

■ No. 13 Gonzaga 97, Pepperdine 88: At Malibu, Calif., Drew Timme scored 34 points and Liberty product Julian Strawther 28 for the Bulldogs (23-5, 12-2 WCC) in their 45th straight win over the Waves (9-10, 2-12).

■ No. 14 Indiana 71, Illinois 68: At Bloomingto­n, Ind., Trayce Jackson-davis had 26 points and 12 rebounds for the Hoosiers (19-8, 10-6 Big Ten), who erased a nine-point second-half deficit. The Illini (17-9, 8-7) were without injured top scorer Terrence Shannon.

■ No. 16 Xavier 82, Depaul 68: At Cincinnati, Jack Nunge had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Musketeers (20-7, 12-4 Big East), who dealt the Blue Demons (9-18, 3-13) their eighth straight loss.

■ No. 22 Texas Christian 100, Oklahoma State 75: At Fort Worth, Texas, the Horned Frogs (18-9, 7-7 Big 12) shot 68.4 percent and halted a fourgame skid. The Cowboys (16-11, 7-7) were outscored 50-20 in the paint.

Mountain West

■ Utah State 75, UNR 66: At Logan, Utah, Steven Ashworth scored 20 points for the Aggies (21-7, 10-5), who overcame a 15-point halftime deficit. Will Baker had 25 points for the Wolf Pack (20-7, 10-4), who were outrebound­ed 40-28.

■ Colorado State 60, Fresno State 57: At Fresno, Calif., John Tonje hit a go-ahead free throw with four seconds left for the Rams (12-15, 4-10), who held the Bulldogs (9-17, 5-10) to 39.7 percent shooting.

Women ■ No. 6 Connecticu­t 60, No. 14 Villanova 51:

At Villanova, Pa., Lou Lopez Senechal scored 22 points for the Huskies (24-4, 16-1 Big East), who are responsibl­e for the lone two losses by the Wildcats (23-5, 14-3) in their past 16 games.
