NEWMARK announced Mike Tabeek was appointed to market leader of its Las Vegas office. He will also retain his role as senior managing director, where he specializes in sales and leasing of office and industrial properties.
“Mike is highly regarded within the industry given his vast market knowledge, ongoing success, deep network of relationships and involvement in the community,” Newmark Executive Vice President and West Region Market Leader Greg May said in a news release. “He is well-suited to lead the region and build upon Newmark’s strong reputation and presence in the Vegas market.”
Gary Scott and Chris Cosenza announced they have formed Ridgeline Hospitality Group, a hospitality firm helping investors with hotel, casino and hospitality acquisitions, project development and asset management. Scott most recently served as chief operating officer for JC Hospitality, owner of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. He has also held executive roles with MGM Resorts and Hard Rock Hotel. Cosenza also worked at JC Hospitality, where he served as senior vice president of strategy and development. Cosenza also has had leadership positions at Ameristar Casinos and stints with a tech startup.
“We are highly experienced in dayto-day operations of small properties to large-scale integrated resorts,” Scott said in a news release.
Cosenza said the firm is “excited to be able to provide high-quality deliverables to both our clients and investors.”
Las Vegas-based Blackmon Home Loans has promoted Quinn Gallagher to manager of the firm. He previously served as a mortgage loan officer. Gallagher will be responsible for managing the business, taking home loan applications and putting together offer packages.
“Quinn has been a wonderful asset to our company, and our clients greatly appreciate his knowledge and tenacity in the way he helps them,” said John Blackmon, founder of Blackmon Home Loans.
