Nigro Construction promoted Cory Frank to vice president of business development and project management. He previously served as the company’s project manager — a role he held since 2017. His experience touches on all aspects of the business such as field operations, permitting and preconstruction as well as federal contracting, where he managed construction contracts for the Department of Defense, Department of Agriculture and local state agencies.
Miranda Dean joined real estate firm The Calida Group as its vice president of capital markets. Dean previously served as investment sale broker with Archer Real Estate. She brings more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate and fintech, specializing in services such as investor relations, debt origination and capital raising.
“I am excited to help The Calida Group hone in on its strategic direction, growth and development, as well as strengthen its partnerships and build new relationships,” Dean said in a statement.
WH Smith appointed Kevin Gotthard as chief financial officer for WH Smith North America, which includes Las Vegasbased Marshall Retail Group and Inmotion. Gotthard will oversee the company’s finance department as it expands its retail footprint in airports and resorts in North America. He joins the company from Neiman Marcus Brand, where he served as chief financial officer.
“Kevin joins us with more than 20 years of experience in finance, with 12 of those years in retail. His experience and leadership in both industries will be invaluable to our business as we continue to see unparalleled growth and success,” WH Smith North America CEO Toby Keir said in a news release.
Henderson-based land planning and development services firm G.C. Garcia Inc. named Kelly Hughes as its project coordinator. Hughes will work with the firm’s internal and external teams and with government and regulatory agencies to help clients with entitlements, permit processing and privileged business licenses. She brings more than 10 years of real estate and development experience and previously worked in both sales and acquisitions for private and public local developments.
