ADAM Lopez joined Goodwill of Southern Nevada as its vice president of information and technology. Lopez has more than 20 years of experience in IT and held several roles such as information technology consultant for Hard Rock International and, most recently, corporate IT director of technical PMO for Golden Entertainment Inc. In his new role at Goodwill, Lopez will lead the nonprofit’s communication strategies, process optimization and investments. UNLV Office of Economic Development named Michael Mosher director of commercialization. Over the past four years, Mosher was the associate director for the Office of Technology Commercialization at the University of Mississippi, where he oversaw the university’s patent portfolio and technology marketing and licensing activities. He served as research director for Global Patent Solutions, an intellectual property research and consulting firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Vladimir Chavez joined Sahara Las Vegas as the executive chef of Chickie’s & Pete’s Crabhouse and Sports Bar. Chavez joins Sahara from Fleur French Bistro at Mandalay Bay, where he served as executive chef. He has held roles at Aureole by Charlie Palmer, Libertine Social and Mandalay Bay’s convention center banquet department.
Wynn Las Vegas named Christopher Lee as its vice president of culinary operations and restaurant development. Lee will oversee culinary programs at Wynn and Encore, and he will be responsible for the operation of new and existing food and beverage spaces. Lee, a more than 20year veteran in the culinary industry, most recently served as Accor Hotels’ culinary and food and beverage director for North and Central America, overseeing 125 hotels and 275 culinary venues.
