IT’S TIME TO CAST YOUR VOTE

It’s time to cast your votes for the 2023 edition of Best of Las Vegas.

This year’s official sponsor is NAQVI Injury Law. Best of Las Vegas is the time of year we ask the audience to vote for favorites, recognize excellence, influence outcomes, and promote exposure. A time to engage with our community, discover new favorites, and encourage improvement in businesses and services. Your vote matters in celebrating local achievements and selecting the Best of Las Vegas.

How were contestants chosen?

We rely on our audience to supply us with the names of outstanding people, businesses and establishments in each of over 500 categories. Once the nominees are finalized, our audience is asked to vote on one choice in each category. Anyone can vote each day from July 31, through midnight, August 16.

What are the categories?

This year, there are 16 topic areas: Beauty & Fitness, Best of Nevada, Eat & Drink, Education, Entertainment, Finance, Health & Wellness, Home & Garden, Hotels & Casinos, Law, Living Local, Motors, Real Estate, Services, Shopping, and Things to Do.

Do advertisers of the Reviewjournal get special treatment?

Business associates and advertisers of the Las Vegas Review-journal, Las Vegas Business Press, RJ en Español, reviewjournal.com, businesspress.vegas, and any other owner affiliated company are not given special treatment.

Is the presenting sponsor competing for votes?

No. The contest will not accept the presenting sponsor to be a current competitor. Sponsors of the main topic categories can be competitors.

Is everyone that is nominated on the ballot?

For a category to qualify for the ballot, there must be a minimum of five separate businesses that are competing for votes. Once a category is qualified, it will be balloted.

Do businesses pay to be on the ballot?

Businesses, organizations or individuals that are nominated by our audience will be placed on our ballot as they are verified. There is never a cost to be nominated, voted for or to win Best of Las Vegas.

How are votes tabulated?

Votes are tabulated by a third-party. Employees of the Las Vegas Reviewjournal do not know the results of the contest until they are announced to the public. The regular voting period begins at 12:01AM, August 28 and ends at 11:59PM Pacific Time, Thursday, September 21, 2023.

Can I “write-in” a business during voting?

Ballots are closed ballot, however; late entries are considered by request, if the business qualifies and there is an established category. All late entries must be received by Friday, September 10th. All late entries must be emailed for consideration.

When will winners be announced?

The names of the winners will be posted at Bestoflasvegas.com on Sunday, December 10, 2023. All winners will be honored in our Best of Las Vegas Magazine publishing in the Las Vegas Review-journal on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
