Raymond “Lee” Clark, 76, passed away September 19, 2023 in Henderson. He was born November 8, 1946, in South Gate, CA to Raymond Carl Clark and Lessie Grace Lee. He graduated in 1964 from Dominguez High School Compton, CA. Lee served as a private in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was raised in the family upholstery business. He was taught and learned alongside his grandmothe­r Emma Clark, his grandpa Ray Clark and his father Carl Clark. Lee was a true craftsman; he not only upholstere­d furniture but also worked hands-on in his local community church, and had a passion for old cars. He worked at UMC as an Engineer for 17 years. He married Carolyn Kay Barnes November 8, 1969 in Las Vegas. They had a great love story that lasted 53 years. They adopted two kids of their own Crystal Kay Clark and Jason Matthew Clark and later adopted their granddaugh­ter, Riley Marie Clark. Lee and Carolyn shared the same passion for Old Westerns and joined Single Action Shooting Society (S.A.S.S) together. Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Lessie Grace Lee; father, Raymond Carl Clark; brothers, William Bruce Clark and Bob Romero; grandmothe­r, Emma Clark; and stepmother, Marjorie Clark. Lee is survived by Carolyn Clark; children, Jason and Crystal Clark; grandchild­ren, Riley, Kenzie, Keegan, and Logan; sisters, Barbara Rice, Becky Bates, Bonnie Maingot and Gail Reilly; and brothers, Thom, Ken, David, and Scott Clark. Services will be 11am Fri., Sept., 29, at Calvary Chapel Green Valley. Burial to follow at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern. A celebratio­n of life will follow at 2828 Candelaria Dr., Henderson, NV 89074.
