KATHY KIEFFNER

Kathy Kieffner, 82, passed away September 26th, in Las Vegas. Kathy is deeply loved by James Osborne, her loving partner, her sister Mary (David) Barclay and her children Mary (Don) Bittle, Nancy Matteson, Janice (Mike) Blasko, and James Kieffner(deceased). Her joy for life's little pleasures will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Emily (Brandon) Chappell, Laurie Bittle, Michael Blasko, Taylor Blasko, Kimberly (Jeff) Hindman, Danielle (James) Meldrum, Jeffery Matteson and Kerstyn Kieffner (deceased). Kathy is also cherished by her nephews and niece, John (Betsy) Barclay, Paul (Naoko) Barclay, and Barbara Barclay. Kathy especially loved her two great-grandchildren Kimber Kieffner and Easton Chappell.

Kathy was born and raised in Illinois and raised her family in Waukegan, IL and Las Vegas, NV. In Las Vegas Kathy spent many years of enjoyment working as a dresser at the Folies Bergere at the Tropicana. She told many stories of her escapades during and after the show with her co-workers and the show cast. Her many adventures at the Elbow Room, Jeremiah's, and Coachman's are legendary. She made many lasting friends and had great memories of her time at the "Trop". She was a member of IATSE Local 720.

Kathy's family remember many fun evenings of food and drink and especially her hosting of Christmas Eve in the lovely decorated home she shared with James. Her family looked forward to this night throughout the year. Future Christmas Eves will never be the same without her beautiful smile and laugh.

A private celebration of Kathy's life and her love of family and friends will be hosted by her Sister and Daughter's at Mary's home on Friday, September 29th from 5 to 7pm.
