Las Vegas Review-Journal (Sunday)
This week’s picks
Aidan O’connell touchdown passes O/U: 1.5
■ Vincent Bonsignore: Under — The Chiefs do well against the pass.
■ Ed Graney: Under — The kid is struggling right now.
■ Adam Hill: Under — This won’t be the typical shootout one might expect in a Chiefs game.
■ Sam Gordon: Under — The Chiefs boast one of the NFL’S best defenses, ranking in the top five in yards allowed, points allowed and sacks.
Davante Adams receiving yards O/U: 62.5
■ Vincent Bonsignore: Over — This game screams Adams involvement.
■ Ed Graney: Under — Yeah, but Hunter Renfrow might.
■ Adam Hill: Over — If there’s one thing O’connell has done, it has been to find ways to force the ball to the team’s best offensive player.
■ Sam Gordon: Over — O’connell looks toward Adams, early and often.
Josh Jacobs rushing yards O/U: 63.5
■ Vincent Bonsignore: Over — The Raiders are making this a point of emphasis.
■ Ed Graney: Over — Hey, when you’ve talked coaches into 65 touches … ■ Adam Hill: Over — The yards will be tough to come by, but he might just sneak over this number on volume alone.
■ Sam Gordon: Over — It would seem the Raiders plan to feature the defending rushing champion this week.
Patrick Mahomes passing yards O/U: 258.5
■ Vincent Bonsignore: Over — The key will be limiting him in the red zone.
■ Ed Graney: Under — He won’t need this many, is all. ■ Adam Hill: Under — They’re probably not going to be chasing points, and both teams might commit to the run, which will run the clock and cause fewer plays.
■ Sam Gordon: Over — Despite his team’s offensive struggles, Mahomes is still averaging 261.9 passing yards per game.
Isiah Pacheco rushing and receiving yards O/U: 85.5
■ Vincent Bonsignore: Over — Lots to like from Pacheco.
■ Ed Graney: Under — Not against this elite defense.
■ Adam Hill: Over — They will look to establish Pacheco and his physical style early in the game, particularly because that’s the best way to attack the Raiders.
■ Sam Gordon: Over — The Raiders are 27th in defending the run.
