Officials still mum on Hernandez investigation
Authorities in North Attleborough, Mass., continue to investigate but not talk about the killing of a semi-pro football player whose body was found a mile from New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.
A spokeswoman for the Bristol County district attorney’s office said officials are not releasing details about the death of Odin Lloyd, 27, whose body was found June 17. His death was ruled a homicide.
Also: The Big Ten and Pac-12 will have two more opportunities to play each other in two more California bowl games. Conference commissioners Jim Delany of the Big Ten and Larry Scott of the Pac-12, along with officials from the Holiday Bowl in San Diego and the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco, are scheduled to hold a teleconference today.
Police in Norman, Okla., say two suspects have been arrested in the Wednesday burglary of the home of Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops. Cash, a phone, credit cards and a vehicle were stolen from the property.
