Couple purchase second Toll Brothers home

-

The Rodrigues family made a thoughtful decision to move to Summerlin. Chad and Mari, along with children, Kaia, 7, and Finn, 3, had lived in one of the city’s historic neighborhoods closer to the center of town and loved their large ranchstyle home.

Ultimately, Summerlin’s schools and sense of community inspired the family to move to Toll Brothers’ Altura neighborhood in The Paseos village.

“We always knew we wanted to be close to good schools and part of an overall community with a strong sense of belonging, a place populated by other families with children of similar ages and interests,” Chad said. “Summerlin is that place for us.”

Before coming to Las Vegas to open a business eight years ago, the family lived in a Toll Brothers’ home in Denver.

“We had such a good experience with Toll Brothers before, we knew we wanted to find another Toll Brothers home, so that made our search in Summerlin easier,” Chad said. “We chose Altura because of the size of the home and its amazing views..”

The gated Altura neighborhood features four two-story floor plans ranging from 3,800 to 4,200 square feet. Altura floor plans offer up to seven bedrooms, 6½ baths, three-car garages and covered patios. Homes at Altura are priced from the $600,000s.

The 3,842-square-foot Provenza offers a formal dining room, first-floor bedroom with full bath, 21-foot ceiling heights in the great room, a craft pantry adjacent to the kitchen and a standard office with private powder room or optional attached casita.

The Venosa, at 4,037 square feet, includes an entry foyer with 20-foot ceiling, striking curved staircase, formal dining room, separate living room and planning center. Each secondary bedroom includes a walk-in closet. A courtyard, covered patio, master-suite covered deck and optional balcony adjacent to the loft offer multiple spaces for comfortable outdoor living.

The slightly larger Brescia floor plan (not modeled) spans 4,042 square feet and features a first-floor guest suite with full bath and walk-in closet, optional attached casita in place of a single-bay garage, dual walk-in master bedroom closets and a huge covered patio and covered deck. A loft and bonus room offer additional indoor living space.

The Sorrento, offering 4,237 square feet, features a foyer, curved staircase and large great room connect- ing kitchen and dining area. The first floor also offers a full bedroom suite and planning center or optional wet bar or wine cellar. The master-bedroom suite includes a sizeable private covered deck and large walk-in closet with island.

Altura is near two new schools. Doral Red Rock Academy is a state-sponsored charter school offering grades K-9 in fall 2016; a public elementary school operated by Clark County School District is slated to open for the 2017-18 school year. A neighborhood shopping center with grocery store, gas station and multiple restaurants is nearby.
