RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. — Orange County officials said four firefighters have suffered minor to moderate injuries while battling a brush fire in the Cleveland National Forest.

The county fire authority said Thursday the blaze has held steady at 155 acres and is 20 percent contained.

Capt. Larry Kurtz says some residents of Holy Jim Canyon east of Rancho Santa Margarita have voluntarily evacuated.

Four firefighters were treated, mostly for heat-related issues.

Crews have increased containment of a wildfire that sent about 700 people scrambling from their homes east of Los Angeles in Riverside County.

Officials said the blaze near Banning grew to more than 2 square miles and is 60 percent contained.

All evacuation orders, most of which were from a mobile home park, were canceled late Tuesday.

The fire broke out Tuesday afternoon and moved quickly through tinder-dry brush. respond to them and one of the fires was quite active,” he said.

The fire is one of five burning in Yellowstone. The largest fire has burned nearly 60 square miles north of the West Entrance Road, and firefighters are working to keep it from spreading beyond the park’s western boundary.

Firefighters were expecting warm, dry and windy conditions to be conducive to fire growth into Saturday.

In neighboring Grand Teton National Park, a wildfire that had closed a road leading to Yellowstone’s south entrance last week was still growing, but it was mostly burning in remote areas and no longer affects travelers between the two parks.
