Chrysler Pacifica has taken the minivan to a new level

-

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica hit the lots earlier this spring and, as predicted, the popular crossover is turning the minivan stereotype on its “wheels.” A popular and well-received vehicle at both Chapman Automotive dealerships in the valley, Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and Chapman Chrysler Jeep, Pacifica sales continue to grow.

The term ‘minivan’ can be a difficult one for those not ready to accept giving up their singlehood or sporty side. With its sleek, aerodynamic look, the design of the Pacifica adapts similar aesthetics of the popular Chrysler 200, including a rounded nose, hood definition and lower side-view mirrors to allow for a quarter window. The crossover features seating for eight, while simultaneously offering best-inclass fuel economy.

“The Pacifica provides what families want, while shifting the traditional minivan stereotype completely with this innovative option,” said Don Hamrick, general manager of Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. “At 4,300 pounds, the Pacifica is one of the quickest in its class. The customers who have purchased them are delighted, and we’ve taken in some high-quality trades in exchange.”

Equipped with Chrysler’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine PROMOTIONAL giving 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, the Pacifica boasts a nine-speed transmission, offering top fuel economy.

“Chrysler really came through with the Pacifica, offering a sleek look and great gas mileage in a spacious and safe family vehicle, and our continuous growth in sales shows that,” said Gary Brewer, general manager of Chapman Chrysler Jeep. “Chrysler has taken the minivan to a new level with the high-performing Pacifica.”

Chapman Automotive, with four locations in Southern Nevada, is celebrating five decades of providing exemplary customer service, dedication to the community, and an extensive selection of new and used vehicles. Since its inception in 1966, the Chapman family, which owns and operates locations throughout Arizona and Nevada, has instilled a family-friendly environment, focusing on a “for the people” mission. The Chapman name has grown from one dealership to 20 and from 16 employees to more than 1,700, and to more than 1 million customers.

Chapman Chrysler Jeep sells and services the complete line of Chrysler and Jeep vehicles from its location at Valley Automall in Henderson.
